Privacy notice

Purpose

Amortimize stores your loan terms and the changes you log so it can reconstruct your true outstanding balance, track interest and months saved, and show the impact of possible next moves. That is the only purpose for which your data is used.

What we store

• Your account email (via Supabase Auth) and a consent timestamp.
• Loan terms: a label you choose, principal, down payment, start month, rate, rate type, term, and the computed initial EMI.
• Change events: prepayments, EMI step-ups, rate resets, and top-ups, with their dates and any note you add.

We never collect bank credentials, account numbers, or lender identity. The loan name is a free-text label for your own reference. The month-by-month schedule is computed on the fly and is never stored.

How it is protected

Data is encrypted at rest (Supabase default) and isolated per user with Row-Level Security, so you can only ever read or write your own records.

Your rights

• Access & portability: export all your data as JSON from Settings.
• Correction: edit or delete any loan or change event at any time.
• Withdraw consent: withdraw processing consent in Settings.
• Erasure: delete your account in Settings; this cascades to your loans and events with no orphaned records.

Retention

We keep your data only while your account exists. Deleting your account purges it.
